Im 17, 5’10.5" and 118 lbs. People tell me a lot that i should be a model, but i know my face isnt really beautiful because its really square. could i still make it?
The face is much more important for editorial than for runway. Runway is really about the height and the body. But for editorial you really need to be photogenic
But photogenic doesn’t necessarily mean beautiful. Most people wouldn’t consider Lily Cole or Karen Elson to be typically beautiful but they are photogenic and are great editorial models

it is amazing. Can someone give me the website. I remember something about there being a show on it on TLC cable channel.
But it is so true because beautiful people all have the same facial proportions, universally speaking. But I know that some people would not agree, but these are only small pockets of people.
I heard that Lya Kebede, Kate Moss, Marilyn Monroe, Bai Ling, Iman, and many other women who have been considered beautiful have this ratio.

Answer this question honestly please. I have a cleft lip (not palate) and often wonder if people go for just looks or personality. Im not feeling sorry for myself or want any sympathy I just want an honest opinion from you. I know I cant be that ugly as I have been married, divorced and have had plenty of boyfriends and I am now in a loving relationship and have 2 gorgeous girls (who do not have the same problem as me) So please answer my question with as much honesty as you like. Is it looks that you go for in a person?
For some reason you posted this in the tattoo section. Fist,
I would say that today’s beauty conscious society has gotten rather obsessed with appearance.
Second, I am considered an expert in lip tattooing and if you need some blending or your scar in the lip line you can consider cosmetic tattooing – only choose someone very experienced, however. Pros can be found here – http://www.spcp.org

I checked wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beauty_mark but I feel it doesn’t give a full explanation.
I think it came from ancient times when "gods" were jealous and put a mark on those who were too perfect. A similar thing occurs in blanket weaving where they intentionally drop a stitch so the blanket is not perfect.

i am on 6wks & 3 days of pregnancy for my first baby. I have lots of questions just to make sure i know everything to have a safe and healthy pregnancy.
Today, i want to know if it’s true that facial beauty products like moisturizers, foam wash and make ups are not safe for pregnant.
My colleagues just told me that I should avoid doing make ups and creams for my face because it might have bad effect for my pregnancy. Also, doing manicure & pedicure is also not good.
Please give me some tips about this. thanks.
There’s no truth behind this.
The only thing that changes during pregnancy skin-wise is your oil output. Some people get more oily, some get drier. It’s best, if you are experiencing a change, to use facial products and make-up for your new skin-type until after you’ve had the baby. And that’s just for your comfort. You don’t want to wear moisturizer for dry skin if you now have oily skin, but it won’t harm you in any way. If you don’t have any changes to your skin type, just keep using what you have always been using, it won’t hurt you or the baby at all! Also, some people may say to stay away from Vitamin A. The TRACE amounts of Vitamin A in make-up, cleansers, and moisturizers are so miniscule that they could not possibly make it into your blood stream to the baby from your face. You would need to injest Vitamin A capsules for that to happen!

***FREE SHIPPING*** ALWAYS FRESH….NEVER EXPIRED!! Skin Type: All – Especially Normal to Dry Skin Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner 2007 Category: Best of Skin – Anti-Aging Treatment This twice-a-day cream is designed to diminish the signs of aging–including brown sun spots, surface roughness, and facial lines–without the drying effects of prescription retinoids (a common anti-aging ingredient). Best of all, you don’t have to reserve it for the face; apply Kinerase to shoulders, chest, anywhere the signs of aging make themselves known. Kinerase contains Kinetin (N6-furfuryladenine), the same natural substance that helps plants retain moisture and has been proven to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Kinerase also improves skin texture, skin tone, and blotchiness in sun damaged skin. It gently moisturizes dry and sensitive or post-procedural skin. Scientific studies reveal that this topical cream works as well as Renova and Retin-A without the side effects. Kinerase reduces wrinkles, signs of photoaging and roughness of the skin with virtually no side effects. Safe to use with makeup or sun exposure. Kinerase contains the nature-identical plant growth factor furfuryladenine, which retards the aging of plant cells as well as in vitro human skin fibroblasts. Benefits: Kinerase Cream offers moisturizing benefits for dry, rough skin while reducing the visible signs of skin aging with virtually no irritation. Ideal for all skin types, Kinerase helps: * Hydrate Skin * Improve skin texture * Diminish the appearance of freckles and brown spots * Reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles Kinerase Cream may also be used to provide moisture to “post procedure-skin” (eg, skin that has had a chemical peel, laser resurfacing, or microdermabrasion). Sensitive skin due to rosacea, eczema, and dermatitis may also benefit from Kinerase Cream. Patients with other skin conditions should use as directed by your physician. For Topical Dermatological Use Only

I can buy a toner, soap, moisturizer from a certain brand but sometimes I run out of one or two of these products so I use an old bottle of toner or moisturizer from a different brand that I stopped using. Doesn’t seem that is irritating my face.
But is it wrong to mix them? Can they be effective in the same way?
Some brands have almost the same ingredients.

y do people get pimples/zits and how do u get rid of ‘em?
First of all, whatever you eat comes out on your skin, so be sure to eat lots of fruits and veggies, and try not to eat packaged food, or food that is not organic. Drink LOTS of water, this will cleanse your body of toxins.
Also, try using organic products, the 1st link shows harful ingredients that irritate skin and cause further breakouts, the 2nd link is a great products like (all natural of course).
Also try taking Omega-3 (fish oil) capsules b/c this helps prevent infection and inflamation as acne is caused by a microbe infection (acne vulgaris). U can find these at any health food store. Try Nordic Naturals, they have the cleanest formula.
good luck!
